A garden room is the quiet way to add a room without moving or extending the house. A studio at the end of the lawn, an office away from the noise, a gym, a bar, somewhere for guests. Built properly, it is warm in winter, cool in summer, and used every day of the year.
A garden building can be whatever the house is short of. We design and build them to sit well in the garden and to be genuinely comfortable to use, with the insulation, power and light that turn a good-looking building into one you actually use.
For cars and storage, we build car ports and garages in timber and brick, and we handle the parts people forget, from foundations and drainage to the electrics and security. Where an old outbuilding is going to waste, we will often bring it back into use rather than start again, if that is the sensible thing to do.

Do garden rooms need planning permission?
Many fall under permitted development, but the size, height, position and how you use the building all matter, and there are limits. We check your plot before designing anything and are straight with you about what is and is not allowed.
Can a garden room be used all year round?
That is the whole point of building one properly. Insulation, heating, power and glazing are designed in from the start, so the room is comfortable in January, not only in August.
Can you convert an outbuilding I already have?
Often, yes. An old garage, a tired outbuilding or a redundant store can become something useful again. We look at what is there and tell you honestly whether it is worth converting or starting again.
Who builds it?
Our own team, to the same standard as the rest of our work. A garden room is a small building, and it needs foundations, structure and finishing done properly if it is going to last.
