Privacy Policy

How BlueView Group collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Who we are

This website is operated by Blueview Group Limited (company number 12662003), a company registered in England and Wales, whose registered office is at Mill House, 58 Guildford Street, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 9BE. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Blueview Group Limited, which trades as BlueView Group. We are the data controller responsible for the personal information described here.

What information we collect

When you contact us or use this website, we may collect:

  • Enquiry details you give us: your name, phone number, and, if you provide them, your email address, the area your project is in, the type of work you are interested in, an indicative timeframe or budget, and any details you write about your project.
  • Consent record: confirmation that you are happy for us to contact you about your enquiry.
  • Technical information: your IP address, which we use to protect the form against spam and abuse, and, where present, marketing attribution parameters (for example the campaign that referred you to us).

We do not ask for special category data, and please do not send it to us through the form.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or arrange a visit.
  • To contact you about your project and the work you have asked us about.
  • To keep a record of enquiries so we can manage them and improve how we respond.
  • To protect this website and our systems against spam, fraud and abuse.

Our lawful bases

We rely on your consent to contact you about your enquiry, which you give when you submit the quote form and which you can withdraw at any time. We also rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running our business and keeping our website secure. Where we are preparing a quote at your request, we may also rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

How your information is stored and who processes it

Enquiries are stored in our own database on servers we control. To run this website and handle your enquiry, we use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who host the website and the database.
  • Cloudflare, which sits in front of the website to keep it secure and available, and whose Turnstile service helps us confirm that form submissions are made by a person rather than an automated bot.
  • Our email provider, used to send us a notification when you make an enquiry so we can respond.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to keep the website secure and working, including those set by Cloudflare and its Turnstile anti-spam check, and a cookie that records your analytics choice. These do not require consent.

To understand how the website is used and to measure enquiries, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager. These set cookies that are not strictly necessary, so we load them only where you have given consent through our cookie banner, and not before. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

We also use a privacy-focused analytics tool that measures visits without cookies. It stores nothing on your device and does not identify you or build a profile of you, so it runs whether or not you accept analytics cookies.

Our Cookie Policy explains each cookie and how to change your choices.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our legitimate business records, and no longer than necessary. Where an enquiry does not lead to work, we review and remove it in line with our retention practices.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
  • object to us using your information, including for our legitimate interests;
  • ask us to transfer your information to you or another provider; and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you did so.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through our contact page, or by post at Mill House, 58 Guildford Street, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 9BE. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to help first.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls on our systems and a security layer in front of the website. No website can be completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
