A terrace is where a garden is actually used, so it is worth getting right. We lay porcelain, limestone, sandstone and other natural stone for patios, paths and the transitions between house and garden, chosen to suit the way your property looks rather than whatever is on the pallet that week.
The part you do not see is what makes paving last. We prepare the sub-base properly, plan the falls so water runs away rather than sitting, and joint the surface so weeds and movement do not undo the work. It is slower than throwing slabs on sand, and it is the difference between a terrace that still looks right in ten years and one that does not.
